This course is aimed at equipping the students with the basic principles of taxation in society, aims of taxation and the underlying benefits and incentives provided through taxation. As trainee accountants and potential accountants, the students will come across taxation in society and the course is aimed at providing the skills and knowledge necessary to execute tasks associated with tax.

The course is primarily focussed on general taxation principles and concentrates on taxation of individuals, whether in employment , business or other form of income generating engagement, as an individual and also on companies taxation.
