The objective of the course is to develop a practical understanding of the accounts of limited companies by ensuring that students have developed a thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, concepts and techniques which will enable them to select and apply appropriate accounting techniques, and procedures to specific circumstances and transactions. On completion of this course, students will be able to comply with the Companies Act - Chapter 146, International Accounting Standards and PNG Standards.
