This course is aimed at further developing the skills and knowledge of students in advanced areas of taxation including practical cases of income tax assessments, tax planning, taxation of mining and petroleum resource projects and primary production, export income taxation and Value Added Tax (VAT).

Students taking this course are assumed to have a good grounding in the second year tax courses.
